Our mission

As time passed, we started to grow accustomed to what our customers found important and how their needs could be better served as the years went by.  Having grown from a small 3000 sq. ft. shopping space in 1987 to over 100,000 sq. ft. today, General Discount has established itself as a one-stop discount center in the greater Southern California area. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are able to provide such a store to communities and cities who greatly benefit from our existence. We also understand that our customers have extremely busy lives so we keep our stores open 7 days a week, 364 days a year.

Although we have many years of experience in the field of retailing we are always ready and willing to listen to new ideas. We strive to reach as many customers as we can and we always welcome ideas on new cities our customers would like to see us open in.  At anytime you feel necessary please feel free to walk into any of our stores and talk to the store manager about any ideas or concerns you might have.
